Last night Verizon sent American journalists a invitation in which he announces that on January 11, 2011 the company will hold a press conference in New York for the launch of a new product. It is supposed to be about the CDMA version of the iPhone 4 and it is supposed that Steve Jobs will also be present at the conference to talk to the world about the new product. Of course this information is speculation based on the sources of American journalists.

For Americans, the release of a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 is very, very important news because in the US there are several CDMA networks, Verizon being the largest of them and also one of the largest mobile operators in the US. Americans have been waiting for a very long time for an iPhone that works on CDMA networks and it seems that they will probably have it this month. This new CDMA model will expand the market for iPhone terminals both in the USA and in Asia where there are many operators that support this standard and most of them have a fairly large customer base.

How does this release affect us? Well, it does not affect us at all considering that in Romania Orange, Vodafone, Cosmote and Digi Mobil operate on the GSM network, so there are no CDMA operators in Romania. Can an iPhone 4 CDMA be used in Romania? Of course not, because there is no network compatible with it in this country. So this release has no impact on the Romanians or the majority of Europeans, it matters for those in the USA.

In the video clip above we have your presence the internal structure of an iPhone terminal. It is supposed to be about the iPhone 5 or maybe the CDMA version of the iPhone 4. What is interesting about this structure is the fact that the position of the antennas was changed probably to solve the famous problems with signal loss. I don't think this internal structure will be used for the CDMA version of the iPhone 4 because it has a SIM slot and CDMA terminals don't need something like that, besides Apple wouldn't risk changing the design now because it would attract the anger of millions customers.

So, you need to know what the iPhone 4 CDMA looks like in order not to be deceived when you buy one second-hand or new from an auction site.
