In iOS 4.3 we will have new multitouch gestures for the iPad tablet. But what exactly do these new multitouch gestures refer to? Using these new gestures for 4 and 5 fingers we will be able to exit an application without using the home button, we will be able to swipe up to open the task switcher to see the applications open in the background and we can swipe left/right to switch from one application to another.
To be honest, it's similar to everything I've seen in Android Honeycomb.

This beta release contains a preview of new Multi-Touch gestures for iPad. You can use four or five fingers to pinch the Home Screen; swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar; and swipe left or right between apps. We are providing this preview before releasing them to the public to understand how these gestures work with your apps. Test them and give us your feedback on the Apple Developer Forums.
