Considering the experience with redsn0w 0.9.7 and the need to have an SHSH for iOS 4.2 beta 3 to do untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1, a user asked MuscleNerd if it is necessary to save an SHSH for iOS 4.3 beta 1. MuscleNerd answered that, Cydia will save automatically these SHSH if the "Make My life easier" option was selected when Cydia was started for the first time after the first jailbreak ever done on the end. This option allows you to save SHSHs for any version of iOS, regardless of whether you still jailbreak or not. If you selected the NO option when you received that message then Cydia will never save SHSHs and you cannot change this.
Considering that these SHSHs will also be saved, I think that the Dev Team could release hybrid jailbreak solutions for iOS 4.3 as well, so be careful to save the SHSHs.
