iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G – the first victims of iOS 4?

iOS 4.3 beta 1 is available for developers since yesterday and the majority of iDevice owners are enjoying the news implemented by Apple, with the exception of iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G owners for whom iOS 4.3 beta 1 not available. iPhone 3G has very big performance problems with iOS 4 and Apple was even sued in court by customers dissatisfied with the performance of the device. I don't know if these processes mattered or not in the decision made by Apple, but iOS 4.3 beta 1 is not available for the 2 terminals and it never will be. The main reason for removing the support would be the hardware of the 2 devices, hardware that sometimes barely manages to run iOS 4, even without multitasking and wallpapers.

Don't despair! If this first beta version is not available for your terminal, the following versions or the final version could work on the 2 iDevices. Apple has not declared anything about the removal of support for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G from iOS 4.3 beta 1, so theoretically there should be a version for them as well. If Apple decides to remove them from the list of compatible products, it would be the first time that Apple does not offer an iOS version for 3 generations of iPhone/iPod Touch terminals.
