MiTime is a tweak available in Cydia since August of last year and its main function is the possibility to activate FaceTime on any operator even if your phone has been hacked using one of the jailbreak solutions available for iOS. MiTime was recently updated to work with iOS 4.2.1 and the new features include compatibility with SAM, which changes the way terminals are hacked.
This guide is ONLY available for iPhone 4 users who have iOS 4.x installed in terminals and hacktivation done with limera1n/greenp0ison/redsn0w on iOS 4.x. The other terminals do NOT have the FaceTime function included, so they cannot use it.
Take steps at your own risk. It does NOT work on all iPhone 4 terminals!
Step 1 - If you have already activated the terminal with SAM, then skip the first 3 steps.
Install SAM (Subscriber activation module) from Cydia from the repo http://repo.bingner.com.
Step 2
After you have installed it, go in Settings>Sat and press De-activated. You will receive a message telling you that your terminal has been disabled. Accept the message then press on Reverse Lockdown.
Step 3
Connect the terminal to the computer, open iTunes and the terminal will be properly reactivated.
Step 4
Add the source http://cydia.pushfix.info to Cydia and install MiTime from it. When you open the application, you will be asked if you want to check the compatibility with your terminal. Press ok to check.
Step 5
If the verification worked, then purchase the application and activate FaceTime.
After activation, the application allows you to change 3 different cards without requiring the reactivation of FaceTime, but if you change the device, you will have to reactivate FaceTime using MiTime.
Once purchased, you can change SIMs or phones 3 times and still be recognized as a purchaser, but you can't change both SIM & phone at the same time.
