Last night the Chronic Dev Team published the video clip above which should be a demonstration of the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.2.1. MuscleNerd confirmed that this video clip is 100% real, so now all we have to do is wait for the release of the solution. Pod 2G from the Chronic Dev Team let it be understood that this untethered jailbreak solution was developed in just one week, although the team claimed since the beginning of the year that they were working on something like this. The solution will be compatible with all iDevices, so you should be able to untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 without having SHSH saved in Cydia or any other things like that. Also last night, probably in response to this video clip, veence (a relative of those who make jailbreak solutions) published what he claims to be a intervened with geohot. No one can confirm the veracity of the information presented in it and there is a fairly high probability that it is false, but I believe that you have every right to find out about the said information and also about the fact that it could be false. There they talked about an untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3 beta 1 and an unlock solution for all iPhone models. geohot might have something like that on hand, but I doubt that they would openly talk about them.
