Microsoft Surface is a multitouch surface similar to what you have seen in the CSI movies that appear on TV. In essence, it is a table with a very large multitouch screen with which the user can interact with a simple touch. This type of product didn't work with many other devices until now, but in the video clip above we have a demonstration of how an iDevice can be used to transfer multimedia content with Microsoft Surface or other iDevices. Company Razorfish has developed its own software that allows interconnection between devices using a simple Wi-Fi network.

Using software developed by Razorfish we could transfer any kind of content: photos, music, movies, very simply and easily, exactly as you can see demonstrated in the clip above. The devices recognize the materials presented on the multitouch surface and the transfer is done instantly by simply positioning the file in front of the iDevice's camera. Until now we only saw demonstrations like this in certain sci-fi movies, but soon the technology could reach the home of any customer willing to pay for the product.

What do you think, the concept looks quite interesting.
