Untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 with redsn0w and PwnageTool in a week?

Pod2G, the Chronic Dev Team member who discovered a good part of the recent exploits used in the team's jailbreak solutions, announced that approximately one week after the release of greenpois0n RC5 for Windows, he will publish the source code of the program. His message was directed to MuscleNerd but also to iH8sn0w. MuscleNerd could use it to release a new version of redsn0w that would not require the use of iOS 4.1 for untethered jailbreak, but also for a new version of PwnageTool. iH8sn0w could use it to make a new version of sn0wbreeze that allows updating to iOS 4.2.1 without updating the baseband.

Even if Pod 2G would publish the source code in a week, it will take much longer until the Dev Team implements it in its programs. We shouldn't get too high hopes that in a week we will have PwnageTool and sn0wbreeze to update to iOS 4.2.1 without baseband update.
