Deutsche Telekom let it be understood today that during this year launch several terminals compatible with NFC technology, including the iPhone. At the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, representatives of the German mobile phone operator presented the company's strategy regarding the implementation of an NFC payment system in several countries around the world. Although during the conference no mention was made regarding compatible terminals, in the brochures offered after the conference, the iPhone terminal was listed in the list of devices that will be able to make payments via NFC.
Using NFC technology, we could, for example, make payments by simply bringing an iPhone close to a device that accepts payments through this technology. NFC payment systems would greatly simplify the entire payment procedure and in the next period several systems will be launched in the USA and Europe.
