We told you the other day that the new MacBook Pro series could have Light Peak technology implemented and in the image above we have what appears to be a new MacBook Pro model with a newly introduced port in the design. The port is located between the ones for USB and the one for FireWire and as you can see it is marked with a lightning bolt, a logo that Apple has also included in the promotional material below. Those from Slashgear I argue that this would really be a port for Light Peak technology or a new Mini DisplayPort implemented by Apple.
In promotional materialYou notice that the new MacBook looks almost identical to the current one, but here we are only talking about the keyboard and trackpad. Tomorrow Intel should officially present the Light Peak technology and also tomorrow Apple should present the new MacBook Pro series.
