The new MacBook Pros have almost double the performance compared to the previous generation

Yesterday Apple launched a new series of MacBook Pro in which it chose to implement the new Sandy Bridge architecture "repaired" by Intel after the problems it had last year. If you will look Chart above you will notice that the new Macs have almost double the performance compared to those of the last generation launched only 1 year ago. The price is the same, the performance is double, so from my point of view, Appe managed to produce some extraordinarily high-performance laptops that are not accessible to anyone. The new Macs have even better performance than an iMac with an i7 processor, so you could turn to a 15-inch MacBook Pro with an i7 at 2.2 Ghz if you want portability and computing power.

The performance of the new MacBook Pros is amazing. The slowest MacBook Pro performs on par with the fastest previous-generation MacBook Pro, and the fastest MacBook Pro is 80% faster than the fastest previous-generation MacBook Pro.

In fact, if you look at our Mac Benchmark charts, you'll see that the fastest MacBook Pro is faster than a lot of Mac Pros (including the current generation of Mac Pros). The new MacBook Pros truly are portable workstations.

Unfortunately, the prices of these products are more than prohibitive considering that a powerful MacBook Pro costs at least $2199, but for those who need a powerful laptop, the investment is worth it.
