To be honest, you don't even know what to believe considering the amalgam of information that everyone throws on the Internet about the iPad 2 tablet just 4 and a half days before the official conference for its presentation. This new rumor comes from AppleInsider and explains the fact that certain sources close to Apple claim that an action was launched to prepare Apple stores for a possible launch of an important product, so a strategic preparation to deal with a large volume of sales.
According to people familiar with the matter, Apple is preparing several of its operating segments to perform functions during the second half of next week that are representative of nothing short of a large scale, consumer-oriented product roll out (not just an announcement). And with official invitations to next Wednesday's press briefing clearly indicating a focus on iPad, these people believe at least one version of the refreshed device will be in transit to retail outlets during that briefing.
Last year the iPad was launched in the same period only in the USA and Apple will follow the same steps, that is, it will launch the tablet in the same timeframe. Whether they release it on March 3rd or a week later, the iPad 2 will be available in March, in my opinion, along with iOS 4.3. Apple does not launch products the day after their presentation, but about a week after it, so I could think that the iPad 2 will be available for purchase in the first part of March.
