Mac OS X Lion brings a surprise for those who used Yahoo Messenger because the iChat application now allows it ADDING Yahoo accounts. Until now, the option to choose a Yahoo account was not available in the Account Type category, but Apple has finally chosen to implement support for this social media service as well. Yahoo has its own chat system that Apple did not implement in favor of those from AOL and Jabber, but there were probably many requests to include Yahoo among the supported platforms, so starting with Mac OS X Lion you will be able to use iChat with owners of Yahoo accounts.
