The new MacBook Pros will only run Windows 7 via Boot Camp

Starting with the new MacBook Pro series, Apple no longer offers support for Windows XP or Vista, Windows 7 being the only operating system for which drivers are still included in Boot Camp. Windows XP is very, very many years behind and is still used by many users, so those who want to switch to a Mac will have to get used to the new Windows 7 available for more than 2 years on the market. It is normal for Apple to give up support for operating systems as old as Windows XP, but it is abnormal for Windows Vista, which is still used by quite a few users.

Note: Windows XP and Vista drivers are not supplied for these computers and are not supported.

Unfortunately, not only the new MacBook Pros will not offer support for Windows XP/Vista in Boot Camp, but also the MacBook Air models available on the market since 2010.
