Apple warns us not to hold the iPhone too close to the body

I will assume that few of you have at least once read the instructions for using an iPhone, instructions available in the box from which you removed the device you are using now. If you had read those instructions, you would have seen that Apple recommends that any iPhone be used at least 15mm away from the body to reduce the level of radiation emitted by the device. Apple also recommends the use of plastic cases instead of metal ones, which can damage the device's antennas and reduce the signal strength. In practice, Apple recommends that we not hold an iPhone to our ear when talking on the phone.

For optimal mobile device performance and to be sure that human exposure to RF energy does not exceed the FCC, IC, and European Union guidelines, always follow these instructions and precautions: When on a call using the built-in audio receiver in iPhone, hold iPhone with the dock connector pointed down towards your shoulder to increase separation from the antenna. When using iPhone near your body for voice calls or for wireless data transmission over a cellular network, keep iPhone at least 15 mm (5/8 inch) away from the body, and only use carrying cases, belt clips, or holders that do not have metal parts and that maintain at least 15 mm (5/8″) separation between the iPhone and the body.

The purpose of the article is to ask you: how many of you have any "fear" about the radiation emitted by the phones you use?
