Tutorial: Activate multitouch gestures on iPad and iPad 2

In iOS 4.3, Apple implemented a new series of multitouch gestures that are unfortunately only available for iOS application developers. Activating them is not that simple on the iPhone 4, but on the iPad and iPad 2 you can do the activation with a simple click. To do this activation on iPad and iPad 2, you need Xcode 4 from the Mac AppStore, but it is not necessary to have a developer account registered with Apple because Xcode activates this option even without registering. Here's what you need to do to activate multitouch gestures on iPad and iPad 2.

Xcode only works on Mac OS X.

1. Download Xcode 4 from the Mac AppStore by here, costs $5.

2. Open Xcode and connect your tablet to your Mac.

3. If a message appears asking you to log in, press cancel, nothing will happen.

4. Select the tablet from the menu on the left.

5. Press the button Use for Development and that's it, the button that allows you to activate/deactivate multitouch gestures should appear on the tablet.
