The iPhone will have NFC technology implemented

Ever since the launch of the Samsung Nexus S, there has been talk about the implementation of NFC technology in iDevices, and of course the iPad 2 tablet was the first device targeted by "rumors". As the iPad 2 did not come with built-in NFC, it went to the iPhone 5, but a few days ago information appeared indicating that Apple will not implement this technology in the iPhone 4 either, because for now the industry does not have an established standard for NFC technology. Those from New York Times "spark" and the waters saying that a future version of the iPhone terminal will have built-in NFC technology, but does not specify if we are talking about the iPhone 5 or the iPhone launched in 2012.

According to two people with knowledge of the inner workings of a coming iteration of the Apple iPhone – although not necessarily the next one – a chip made by Qualcomm for the phone's processor will also include near-field communication technology, known as NFC This technology enables short-range wireless communications between the phone and an NFC reader, and can be used to make mobile payments. It is unclear which version of an iPhone this technology would be built into.

Apple has already registered several patents for the implementation of NFC technology in its own terminals, but the standardization of the technology is expected, a process that could take some time. The New York Times quotes sources close to Apple who claim that in a future iPhone Apple will implement a new NFC chip produced by Qualcomm, but for now everything is at the project stage.

However, even if Apple implements NFC technology in its own terminals, will we be able to use it for anything in Romania? Personally I think not.
