Waiting in line for the iPad 2 has become a business for some

I told you a few days ago about one article written by the New York Post explaining the business that some Asian stores are doing in the US. Practically hundreds of Asians stand in queues in front of Apple stores to purchase iPad 2 tablets, tablets that are then exported to China or Hong Kong where they are sold at double or triple the price. For some, the wait is well worth it considering that they can earn between $100 and $200 for the time wasted waiting in line and believe me, it is not pleasant to stand in the rain or cold in front of an Apple store for several days in a row.

In New York, the Asians who buy the tablets deliver them to people waiting in the vicinity of the store, people who then send them to Asian countries. Those from Cultofmac I claim that last week almost half of the 400 people who were waiting in line in front of the Fifth Avenue store in New York gave their tablets for a fee to a man in a BMW X5 parked near the store. This kind of business has been happening since March 11 in most Apple stores, the employees know what is happening, their bosses also know but everyone's hands are tied.

You've seen them in the US, now you'll see them in Europe, considering that the launch in Japan has been postponed.
