BiteSMS 5.3 beta 1 available

BiteSMS is one of the most complex SMS messaging apps available for iOS. Unfortunately, the application adds a series of functions that Apple does not want for iPhone owners, so its developers decided to release it only in Cydia after Apple rejected their application from acceptance in the AppStore. Even so, the application has enjoyed an extraordinary success that pushes the developers to constantly improve the application's functionalities. BiteSMS 1 beta 5.3 was released today and here's what it brings for iPhone users:

  • QuickReply text fields and improved;
  • Added support for accessibility features of IOS;
  • Fixed a bug with the e-mail address not being displayed correctly;
  • Improved handling of claims and the repair option of the same.

Before version 5.3 beta 1, the final version 5.2 was released, which brought the following news:

  • Added support to TextFreek. Find the settings in Settings -> TextFreek;
  • Support for iOS 4.3;
  • Adding the "Remember for this contact", which will allow you to automatically switch to the network of biteSMS rather than that of your provider for a particular contact.
  • Added support for ringtones iOS 4.2.1 whereby biteSMS now interacts properly with the function for ringtones assigned to contacts
  • The ringer volume has been reduced by 50% when using headphones
  • After setting the options for privacy, now the buttons "Open" and "Call" will be shown as active / inactive
