Multicorder is a new application for iDevices available in the AppStore that allows us to change the settings for the format in which video clips are recorded. As you can see in the image above, the application offers us the opportunity to choose the resolution at which we want to make the video, but also the viewing format. Depending on this setting, the video clip can be seen in wide or portrait format, but together with it you also choose the low/high-definition quality of the clip. These settings are important for those who don't have that much space available in the terminal or for those who want to record a small video clip that they can upload very quickly and easily on a site like YouTube, for example.
Of course, the application also has several options that show us how much space on the disk the respective recording occupies, at how many frames per second the recording is made, the duration of the clip and information about the audio quality of the recording. Multicorder is an interesting application and brings a functionality unavailable for the Camera application, but more importantly, it does not require jailbreak. The application can be purchased from the AppStore for €2.39.
