Photo Stream - a new function for the Photos application available in iOS 5?

Photo Stream is an iOS feature discovered since the release of beta versions of iOS 4.3 and in essence it should allow users to stream photos using an external file hosting service. Users will be able to make photo albums that they will probably be able to upload to MobileMe and that they will be able to send to friends to view directly from their own iDevice or from a computer. I encountered this function when I had iOS 4.3 beta 2 installed on my terminal, but starting with beta 3 it was removed from iOS 4.3 and no final version of the operating system is present.

From the looks of different alerts and lists, it appears that Apple will let iPhone users set up "Photo Streams" that friends could "subscribe" to. Also, it looks like there will be some privacy preferences related to this, so you can choose who is allowed to view your "Streams." With Photo Streams, you will also be allowed to "invite" other users to view your pictures as you take them and upload them to a service. This service looks like it is connected to MobileMe.

Those from 9t5mac report that the function is still present in iOS 4.3, but it is hidden, but certain applications that work with the albums in the Photos application display the option to do streaming. For now, it is speculated that the new version of MobileMe will have a free function for uploading photos that will allow you to share them with our friends, but Apple would have postponed the launch of the function now considering that the new version of MobileMe has not appeared either. iOS 5 will have many new functions and Photo Stream or Find My Friends could be among them.
