Trap Call is the first application in the world that tells iPhone users who is calling them with a hidden number. The application was under review at Apple for no less than 201 days, but today it was finally accepted in the AppStore and represents a first step towards identifying calls made with a hidden number. The application works through a paid service provided by the developer company. For 5 dollars a month you can find out any number that calls you, and you can also find out details about the name of the person who owns that number and the address where the number is registered.

When you are called with a hidden number, reject the call by pressing the power key twice, the application will record the call and in a few seconds will send a notification with the number from which you were called plus all the details regarding the owner and the address. The application also allows the transfer of VoiceMail messages or the recording of phone calls when you accept one, all for a certain monthly amount. Unfortunately, the application is currently only available in the USA, working exclusively with the operators there. I don't know if it will be available in Romania, but it would be very interesting!

You can download the application from here if you have an account in the US AppStore.
