In a mini discussion with iH8sn0w on Twitter, I learned that the ultrasn0w version compatible with iOS 4.3.1 could be launched today in Cydia. As you already know, Dev Team recommended not to update to iOS 4.3.1 if we need unlock because ultrasn0w is not compatible. In version 2.4 beta 1 of sn0wbreeze iH8sn0w included a patch for ultrasn0w but decided to remove it in sn0wbreeze 2.5 released today so you won't be able to use ultrasn0w if you make a custom ipsw with sn0wbreeze. The information regarding the launch of ultrasn0w is not 100% certain, so take it as a rumor.
I saw that many of you complain that after installing a custom ipsw made with sn0wbreeze 2.5 you only have a dash on the signal. I also installed such a custom ipsw on iPhone 4 and all the signal bars appeared, so it's a problem that randomly affects users.
