The Parrot AR Drone is one of the coolest toys for iDevices that I have had the opportunity to use to play. Normally the control of the device is done using a smartphone or an iPad tablet, but some engineers of the Zickel aeronautics company managed to modify an Xbox Kinect so that an AR Drone quadricopter can be controlled through it. As you can see in the clip above, the device is quite "wild", but in the end the gestures made in front of the kinect work as well as possible for a test system.
I've said it and I'll say it again, kinect technology will revolutionize the way we look at the possibility of interacting with our gadgets.
