SmartCover, the "smart" case launched by Apple for the iPad 2, is of course also available in stores in Romania, but some of them have gone a bit overboard, I say. At our place, so far, I have only seen polyurethane covers of various colors and only at 2 important stores, eMAG and evoMAG. to Evomag covers are available for 259 lei, while at eMAG price reaches up to 290 lei. A cover of this kind costs 44 dollars in the USA, that is, around 100 lei here, but with roads, taxes, customs, etc., let's say that at evoMAG the price is ok, but asking 300 lei for a cover seems a bit much to me exaggerated.
The leather covers that in the USA are available for $77 (or about 200 lei in our country), at eMAG they reach around 375 lei, while at evoMAG they are coastline 349. The difference between the polyurethane version and the leather version is almost 100 lei at both stores, but this time evoMAG comes out on top for the better price.
