New MacBook Airs Shipped With Faster Samsung-Made SSDs?

A rather interesting rumor was presented by those from Anandtech 2 days ago and has in the foreground the MacBook Air series launched last year by Apple. Those from AnandTech claim that Apple would have given up on Toshiba in favor of Samsung for the deliveries of SSDs with which the MacBook Airs are equipped. Normally there shouldn't be any problem, but it seems that these new SSDs are faster than the ones that the Airs were delivered with until now. The synthetic tests done so far reveal that the new SSDs in the MacBook Air are about 30% faster in terms of reading speed and almost 20% faster in terms of writing speed.

For now, the rumor is unconfirmed, but if Apple has changed the SSDs in the MacBook Air, then the company could have a rather serious problem with some customers who will certainly be unhappy that they received the less equipped models.
