Permanent decoding for any iPhone could be possible in the future

Today the big companies that offered permanent decoding for any iPhone officially closed the decoding services. CutYourSim is one of these companies and apparently managed to do no less than 400 decodings until the service was closed. Having this official figure from a site that was heavily publicized, I think about the fact that this week there were decoded only a few thousand iPhone terminals. If only 400 were decoded at CutYourSim, how many could the other sites have decoded? I don't think that more than 10.000 iPhone terminals were decoded this week because, as you can see, the numbers say otherwise.

Unfortunately, we were not able to complete the rest of the unlocks waiting in our queue due to our suppliers being unable to offer the service anymore," CutYourSim told Cult of Mac. "Our suppliers have told us that there is a possibility that the service may return, but they do not know when, so we have decided to start processing refunds for any orders that we were unable to complete.

Although the service has been blocked, there is still the possibility that it will return in the near future, if there are still employees willing to risk their job and freedom in exchange for a very large and very fast profit. It is interesting that all these decodings were done through a UK provider and I can only think that a mobile phone operator had several employees involved. For now, no one decodes AT&T coded terminals, but maybe in the near future the service will return.

To tell you the truth, first our supplier told us there were server issues, then after that they just told us that they will not be offering the service anymore. We are not sure where the service comes from, or whether it's a contact through AT&T or Apple. We do know that the service is performed in the UK, but that's about it.
