Apple - discount on quality, increase in sales?

In the last year, Apple released an iPhone terminal, several models of iPod terminals, 2 models of MacBook and a new model of the iPad 2 tablet. Of these, the iPhone terminal, MacBooks and the iPad 2 tablet proved to have problems of functionality. With the iPhone 4, the problems were related to the proximity sensor, signal quality and the fragility of the display. With MacBooks, there were problems with sudden crashes, screens that closed/opened by themselves, total blockages of the operating system/etc. With the iPad 2, the problems are with the screen, more precisely with backlight bleeding, but also with the recording of video clips/etc.

Should Apple discount the quality just to sell the products as quickly and in the largest quantities? It is true that some problems have been solved by software updates, but other physical defects have not been solved until now and maybe they will not be solved. In the last year, Apple made a lot of mistakes in terms of the products launched and customers will only endure up to a limit. If the iPhone 5 will have the same problems with the signal, a free Bumper will not solve the problem, and a new proximity sensor that closes calls by itself could "end" the patience of some customers.

What do you think, is it a problem regarding the quality of iDevices released by Apple?
