Apple's new online streaming service could launch at WWDC

Yesterday I told you that they were in Mac OS X Lion found references indicating that Apple could launch a new online streaming service under the name Castle. In reality, Castle is the code name used by Apple for the new service that will most likely be called iCloud. Those from TechCrunch managed to get it information from sources close to Apple indicating that this new streaming service will be launched only after WWDC, which will take place in just one month and 4 days. Apple's "castle" is not yet ready for launch and the company's engineers are still testing its various functions plus the way it interacts with Apple's operating systems.

Although everyone is speculating that the name will change from Castle to iCloud, those from TechCrunch claim that the official name of the service has not yet been established with certainty. I think that a summer launch of this service would be incompatible with the launch of iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion because the service will probably be integrated not only in Mac OS X but also in iOS. I assume that Apple will present him at the conference, praise him and try to put Lion and iOS 5 in a better light thanks to him. Until then, we will definitely hear more about him and maybe we will find out accurate information about what he will bring us.
