Video: PhySwitch – a new way to manage multitasking on iPhone

ProSwitcher or Multifl0w offer users the possibility to manage applications open in the background in a different way, but PhySwitch brings a completely new way. Unlike the fast app switcher in iOS that only displays the icons in a menu at the bottom of the screen, PhySwitch works completely differently. As you can see from the video clip above, the tweak displays the applications open in the background directly in the middle of the screen in a representative thumbnail. Activating this menu is done by pressing both volume buttons and switching from one application to another is done by pressing the volume buttons. When you reach the desired application, select it and it will be opened.

PhySwitch works through the Activator plugin which also allows setting any button to open the menu of applications open in the background. PhySwitch is very interesting and worth trying if you like this kind of tweaks. PhySwitch costs $1,99 and requires at least iOS 4 to work.

With PhySwitch, you can use your iPhone's/iPod touch's volume keys to change between applications!

It's simple: after installing this, go to Settings and select the desired event to open PhySwitch, using LibActivator. We recommend using "press both volume buttons together", but you can choose whatever you want.

Then, just open PhySwitch and use the volume keys to switch between the applications! You can use the touchscreen to change between them too! 🙂
