Apple is ranked 35th in the Forbes 500 list

During this evening, the famous financial publication Forbes launched F, an annual top that includes 500 of the American companies that recorded the highest revenues. This year the Apple company managed to climb 21 places, reaching the 35th position with no less than 65 billion dollars collected. The amount is enormous and is equal to the financial reserve of the Apple company, which has grown in recent years thanks to the iDevices that have sold and are selling better and better.

Apple climbed 21 slots into the top 50 of the Fortune 500 this year. How'd it get there? The company not only continues to expand its reach in existing markets, it also keeps creating new ones.

Take the iPad, which showed the world the power of tablet computing when it was introduced last year. iPad 2 followed, and was one of the most highly anticipated electronic products this year. CEO Steve Jobs' appearance at his debut in March reassured shareholders worried about his most recent medical leave. Regardless of who's in charge, though, investors have plenty of reason to believe Apple's magic spell on consumers can continue.

In terms of profit, Apple occupy the 8th position with 14 billion dollars, climbing 18 places compared to the position occupied last year in the top of the most profitable companies in the USA. Although Apple has climbed to the Forbes list, Microsoft is a more profitable company, bringing 18.8 billion dollars to the company's accounts. Leaving money aside, Apple was in the top of the largest employers in the US, the company employing 12.600 people and ending up having almost 50.000 employees in stores all over the world.

In conclusion, Apple is doing well and if it releases an iPhone 5 and an iPad 3 tablet at least as good as the iPhone 4 and iPad 2, then next year we will see it in much better positions.
