Stampr allows adding a timestamp to photos

Stampr is a tweak released today in Cydia that allows iDevice owners to add a timestamp to photos taken on their own terminal. The tweak, as you can see in the image above, adds to the bottom of the image the time you took the picture (including the second) plus the date you captured it. The tweak is installed from Cydia, but it does not have an icon in Springboard, so you will make all the settings from the Settings menu where you have the following options:

  • the ability to enable/disable the tweak;
  • selecting the way in which the time is displayed in the picture;
  • the possibility to change the font and the color of the writing;
  • the possibility to set a customized text that will be displayed before the timestamp.

Stampr is available for free in Cydia in the BigBoss repo. You must have at least iOS 4.2 installed.

Allows you to have timestamps on photos inside camera.app. You can take a photo with the normal camera app, and you will have two photos taken, one, which is the original, and one with the timestamp. (Of slightly lower resolution) Easily customizable from settings, you can adjust the font size. The font color, even have custom text before the time stamp. You can have a 24 hour time if you'd like, and the time stamp also includes the date. Tested and completely works on 4.2+ (including Verizon iPhone).

No new icons have been added to your home screen. Tweak options can be configured from Settings.app.
