I told you last week that Google launched a web application for Google Maps that allows owners of terminals with iOS and Android OS to directly use the browser for GPS navigation. Those from PocketNow they made a short presentation of this service which looks identical on both terminals. What I was mainly interested in was the way the Maps application made by Google for Android looks. Notice that they have implemented a module that shows the maps in much more detail and the possibility to see the buildings in 3D is extremely useful. Unfortunately, Apple has not thought to implement something like this yet, but who knows, maybe in the near future we will have a new Maps application.

The web version of Google Maps contains more or less the same functions as the Maps application for iOS, but considering that it runs in Safari, we will have a limited workspace. Until then, iGo su Navigon remains the first choice of any iDevice user.
