Apple is trying to solve the problems with backlight bleeding on the iPad 2

I assume that there are people among you who bought an iPad 2 tablet and discovered that they have problems with it backlight bleeding. Unfortunately, I have the exact same problem, but several hundred thousand other people have experienced it, some even unsuccessfully tried to change their tablets. Apple seems to have solved part of the problem by completion a partnership with Coretronic, a manufacturer of backlight modules. Apple will buy new backlight modules for its tablets from Coretronic, and theoretically we should no longer hear about people complaining that they have light leaks on the edge of the screen.

Rumors have surfaced that Taiwan-based backlight module maker Coretronic will become a supplier for Apple's iPad. The shipment penetration rate of Coretronic's BLUs for LED TVs reached 35% in the first quarter of 2011 and it expects the penetration to reach 40% in the second. Fellow Taiwan-based BLU maker Radiant is also a supplier for Apple.

Even if Apple will soon receive new modules for its screens, it is not known if a tablet changed now will come without problems with light leaks. I know that some of you are thinking of changing your tablet, but I don't know if it's time yet. It would be best to wait at least another month and only then change your tablet.
