Samsung Galaxy S surpasses iPhone 4 in sales in Japan in Q1 2011

I didn't expect to read something like this in any way, but here it was iPhone 4 DEPRECATED on sale in Japan in Q1 2011. Apple's terminal has been a huge success in Japan since its launch, but it seems that 2011 brought a major change in the preferences of the Japanese and the Samsung Galaxy S surpassed the iPhone 4 for the first time in sales. Note that we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S, a terminal released before the iPhone 4 that still sells very well in Japan since it managed to convince so many people to buy it.

Galaxy S smartphones from Samsung outsold Apple iPhones in Japan during Q1 2011, which places Samsung in the ranks of the top four handset vendors of Japan for the first time, according to Strategy Analytics. Android smartphones are now outselling iOS smartphones in Japan.

I think that for Apple this must be an alarm signal because now we have the Samsung Galaxy S II on the market, a terminal that exceeded already iPhone 4 in South Korea and will probably do it in other countries as well. There is a need for a new iPhone model for those from Apple because the iPhone 4 has almost lived through its moment of glory. And so the launch of a new iPhone in June seems more and more clear.
