TweakWeek is a kind of competition launched by Ryan Petrich, the developer of the Proswitcher tweak, which tries to promote new tweaks for iDevices. Every day of the week a new tweak will be released that must have been developed that day. The tweak will be free in the repo http://rpetri.ch/repo/ on that day and can be downloaded by any interested person. The competition started yesterday with the DietBar tweak that reduces the size of the iOS top and bottom bars. Practically, the top bar where the name of a setting from the Settings application is written is reduced to expand the area where the content is displayed.

Today PagePusher is the free tweak of the day and in the video clip above we have a small demonstration of how it works. PagePusher modifies the animations that are displayed when we move from one settings menu to another. Notice in the video that now instead of a left/right slide, when exiting/entering a setting we have an effect similar to that of changing a page. I assume that the effect was borrowed from the iBooks application where there is exactly the same thing.

PagePusher is available for free in the repo http://rpetri.ch/repo/ .
