Just a few hours before the presentation of iCloud, information appears that suggests that Apple would begin to return money to those who recently renewed their MobileMe subscription. some users from the US were charged last week for the MobileMe service, but today Apple started to return the subscription money to some. It is rumored that iCloud would be a free service, but I for one am very circumspect about this rumor because Apple pays hundreds of millions of dollars to record companies in the US to allow audio streaming, so they have to get the money from somewhere.
This rumor only strengthens the interest in MobileMe and if it is true then it is possible that certain functions of MobileMe are really free.
