LockAlert is a new tweak available in Cydia that allows users to manage the push notifications visible in the LockScreen in a different way. The new tweak allows us to close any push notification displayed in the LockScreen with the help of a small button that would not normally be present there because Apple does not allow closing notifications from the LockScreen. This is the only function that LockScreen brings and it can be activated/deactivated directly from the iOS settings menu where the tweak has a dedicated section.
LockAlert is available in Cydia in the free ModMyi repo and you can try it until the release of iOS 5 because after that I guarantee you won't need it anymore thanks to the new notification system.
