Vodafone announced today the launch of the iPad 2 in Romania, although iStyle had already announced it yesterday on the official website, and Vodafone is the first mobile operator in Romania to announce the official launch of the iPad 2 tablet in Romania. Orange has been an Apple partner for several years and will more than likely announce new tariff plans for the iPad 2 tablet and the launch through its own partners since Vodafone has already done so. Cosmote is the third operator in Romania that markets the iPhone, it has a contract with Apple and could launch the iPad 2 tablet, but in the case of Cosmote I would not be so sure.
If Vodafone announced the launch of iPad 2 this morning, then Orange and Cosmote should announce it by the end of the day or tomorrow at the latest, so prepare your wallets because we finally have iPad 2 in Romania 3 and a half months after the official launch in the USA.
