Apple is preparing the start of production for iPhone 5 and iPad 3

Speculations regarding the launch of a new iPhone model in September have been resurfaced today following an article written by the publication DigiTimes which claims that in August Apple's partners will start producing the new iPhone 5. The launch is scheduled for September and Apple's partners plan an increase in production in September and October following the official launch. In addition to the iPhone 5, the publication claims that the iPad 3 will also be available this fall and the production of this new device will begin at the same time as the iPhone 5, that is, in August.

Upstream component makers including Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), which is in charge of assembling the devices; Simplo Technologies and Dynapack International Technology, in charge of manufacturing batteries; TPK Holding and Wintek, in charge of touch panel modules; Catcher, in charge of chassis; and Largan Precision, in charge of webcams, are all expected to benefit from the orders.

The production of 6-7 million iPhone 5 terminals is estimated for this autumn, a sign that Apple expects important sales considering that it has delayed the launch so much. If everyone believes in an iPhone 5 launch, no one believes in an iPad 3 tablet launch considering that the current model was launched in March, which is selling better and better.
