Skype 5.2 for Mac available

Today Skype released version 5.2 of the famous application for Mac OS X. The new version of the application brings some interesting functions such as video screen sharing but also a redesigned call bar that now also allows making video calls. Those from Skype decided to include the screen sharing/document sharing functions that were already available in the version for Windows, but for now the integration of support for FaceBook remains exclusively for users of the Windows platform.

Need to switch to another app during a video call? No problem. You'll see the person you're talking to in a mini-window that floats on top of any files or applications you have open. Mute, end the call, and double click on the window to return to Skype. Just swipe the trackpad with three fingers to switch between different conversations.

Skype 5.2 for Mac OS X can be downloaded from here. An announcement by Facebook is scheduled tomorrow, in which it is assumed that the integration of this service into a new function launched by the famous social networking site will be presented. The iPad version of Skype is also expected tomorrow, but for now there is no solid indication to support this rumor.
