A function that some have been waiting for years but other phones had from the start: possibility to set a custom ringtone for messages, is finally available in iOS 5 beta 3. Apple introduced this function in the ringtone setting menu for messages and from there we can buy a new ringtone or set a ringtone already available in our phone, if we had one made and synchronized. Practically, we cannot buy ringtones, but we can make and the ones we make can be synchronized with iTunes and appear in iOS in the ringtone selection menu for messages.
I don't know why it took so long until this function was implemented, it was a shame for the iPhone that it didn't have something like this, at least from the point of view of some, but now we have it and we can use it quietly.
