The new Cellular Usage menu in iOS 5 beta 4

In iOS 5 released on Friday night, Apple slightly changed the layout of the Usage menu in iOS. In iOS 4, this menu normally displayed information about the level of use of the terminal, the traffic consumed on the Internet and the number of minutes spoken on the phone. Starting with iOS 5, Apple also introduced there information about the applications installed in our terminal, the space they occupy and the space available in our iCloud account. Because the entire menu had become very crowded and difficult to use, Apple decided that in iOS beta 5 4 to move part of the information to a new submenu called Cellular Usage.

In the old Settings>General>Usage menu, we have displayed information about the installed applications, about the iCloud account, about the level of use of the terminal, but also a toggle that allows us to activate the battery percentage. In the Cellular Usage menu, we now have information about the time spent talking on the phone and the number of MB consumed either by tethering or by simply connecting the terminal to the Internet, plus a button that allows us to reset the statistics. The implementation of this submenu is auspicious because it makes the process of opening and reading information easier and I hope it remains there in the final version of iOS 5.
