Android terminals sell better but are returned in a much larger number

I assume that everyone has already understood the fact that Android terminals are sold in greater numbers than iPhone terminals and in a few years there will be more Android terminals than iOS terminals. It was inevitable that a platform used by so many mobile terminal manufacturers would not surpass a platform used by only one. Although Android is growing in popularity, those from TechCrunch presents the story behind Android's success. Although on the surface the sales seem to be extremely good, in reality many of the Android terminals are returned, the return rate sometimes reaching 30-40% in the case of certain terminals. In comparison, the iPhone 4 has a return rate of 1.7%, so more than 20 times lower, but we are only talking about a single model here and not about all devices.

Those from TechCrunch claim that many users purchase Android terminals due to the open platform and the different way of organizing the operating system, but some of them realize that an Android terminal is no more useful than an iPhone or a BlackBerry terminal. Techcrunch continues by saying that Samsung will sell between 18 and 21 million mobile phones this year and a good part of these terminals have the Bada operating system which is included in the terminals sold at fairly low prices. Practically everything presented by TechCrunch is not new, but many do not know what is happening behind the "success" of Android terminals. There are undoubtedly very good terminals, but which still have a higher return rate than iPhone terminals, and in statistics this return rate is never highlighted.
