Apple is changing the iOS installation process in partner factories

The other day I was telling you like Apple uses 2 types of SHSHs to install iOS on our devices: one used for installing iOS at the factory and another for installing through iTunes. iH8sn0w made this discovery following some investigations undertaken using iFaith, but today he comes and informs us that in the case of the A5 chip the situation is different. It seems that in factories for the A5 chip Apple uses the same type of certificate used for the normal restore through iTunes. iH8sn0w did not explain what this means, but theoretically the existence of this SHSH could allow its extraction and reuse.

The 2 types of certificates that I talked about previously were different and the one for factories could not be used in iTunes, but if Apple uses the same certificate in the A5, then theoretically it could be extracted and used to restore with iTunes. Of course, this situation applies to those who have now purchased an iPad 2 tablet, have a jailbreak and would like to save SHSH to be able to restore to iOS 4.3.3 again. The problem is that iH8sn0w develops rather difficult solutions for saving SHSHs, so until iPhone 5 I don't think we will have a method by which we could extract a SHSH from an iPad 2 tablet that has never been restored.
