Here's how you can access iCloud.com without a developer account

On Monday Apple launched iCloud.com, a beta version of the website with which we will be able to manage the data from our iCloud accounts. Unfortunately for many, Apple has chosen to limit access only to developers of iOS applications. For me, iCloud.com is accessible from 3 different accounts and none of them are registered for the Dev Center, so this limitation only applies to certain Apple IDs. For those who cannot access iCloud.com there is a method to remove the limitation imposed by Apple and if you follow the steps below you will be able to access your iCloud account. The problem is that you will not be able to use the web applications from it, but at least you can see what it is about.

  1. Access iCloud.com using Chrome or Safari.
  2. Right click on an empty part of the site, choose the option Inspect Elements and then the option Sideboard.
  3. In the console, write the following line of code, then press Enter: javascript:CloudOS.statechart.gotoState("active.springboard")

After performing these steps, you will have access to the iCloud.com dashboard, but you will not be able to use any of the applications. Considering that you ran a Javascript code to access the interface, a simple reload of the page will reopen the login page from where you have to follow the process of overcoming the limitation imposed by Apple. Of course, these steps must be followed only by those who have iOS 5 installed in their device and at least a backup made with iCloud.
