iOS 5 and the impossibility of backing up via iCloud

Starting with iOS 5 beta 1, we had access to the iCloud service that allowed us to save data from our terminals directly on Apple's servers from where we could download them again later in case of need. In order for backups to be made, the backup option needed to be activated from the iOS 5 settings menu, but in some cases this option does not work. Certain users could not back up to iOS 5 beta because iCloud told them that their device could not be backed up, so they had no way to save anything except through iTunes.

Searching on Google you will not find any 100% good answer for this problem and the solution consists in an OTA update or restore to a new version of iOS 5 beta. A friend of mine had this problem with iOS 5 beta 3 and only with the help of an OTA update to iOS 5 beta 4 he managed to solve everything, so in the future you know what to do if you have problems. Unfortunately, it is possible that Apple will disable the possibility to backup via iCloud on the old versions of iOS 5 beta, so make sure you always have the latest beta version installed, especially since beta 4 is the best so far.
