KillBackground is a new tweak released last night in Cydia that gives users the opportunity to close all applications open in the background. The tweak adds 2 buttons to the task switcher on the left/right side of the applications, and pressing any of them closes all open applications. Normally, applications open in the background can only be closed manually using a special button implemented by Apple, but KillBackground makes the whole process easier and I think it's worth trying at least once. The tweak works as soon as it is installed, so it does not need to be set from the iOS Settings menu.
