Apple was for a few minutes the most valuable company in the world

Today for just a few minutes Apple was the most valuable company in the world according to the stock market capitalization, managing to surpass Exxon Mobile. The Apple company had a value of 341.55 billion dollars compared to Exxon Mobile which had a value of 341.52 billion dollars, so a difference of only 20 million dollars between the 2 companies. Unfortunately for Apple, the value of the shares fluctuated constantly so that soon Exxon Mobile regained its position as the most valuable company, but Apple achieved something historic, even without Steve Jobs officially at the helm.

The American stock market is currently open, but share prices fluctuate and it is not known if at the close of the stock market Apple will have a higher market capitalization value than that of Exxon Mobile.
