More than a week ago, I added a small widget to the iDevice.ro sidebar (menu on the right side) that allows you to search for applications from the App Store. In practice, write the name of the desired application in the search box, press the Search button and in the border below the search box you will see your application and some information about it. By default, the widget displays some popular applications from the top of free applications, but everything you see is extracted from the US App Store and not from the Romanian App Store. Soon I will be able to display results from App Store Romania plus many others, but until then I recommend you to use this version of the widget.
From those who took courage and used the widget, I would like to know what your impressions are regarding its functionality. Although searches are done in the US App Store, the applications open automatically in the Romanian App Store if your iTunes has this option set. In conclusion, what was your experience with this widget for searching applications from the App Store?
